A family affair - as featured on BBC Radio 2!

Over the past few weeks we've had the privilege of working with one of the best known names in Wales. Many people will be familiar with Scott Quinnell as a legendary Welsh rugby player who is one of the best Wales have ever produced. We were proud to launch his site just a few weeks ago during the six nations. We designed and built the site on a cutting edge CMS platform to allow Scott to keep the site up-to-date himself.

Regular listeners to the Chris Evans breakfast show on Radio 2 may have heard Scott talking to Chris ahead of the Grand Slam weekend. During the show Scott mentioned his wife's hand-made candle business and admitted that he delivers many of the candles himself. We have also been busy developing the Blue Angel Candles e-commerce site for Nicola Quinnell which launched just last week. The site launch coincided with the introduction of exciting new product ranges and the site has already been very successful in the few days it has been live.

We wish both of them the best of luck in their respective careers and are glad we have been able to help. We look forward to lending our expertise to further projects in the future.

2012 promises to be a historic year for Britain with huge events such as the Olympics, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, The Ryder Cup, and Carrick's 20th Anniversary.

OK, so our 20th Anniversary may not be something that everyone is excited about but we are very proud to still be going strong after 20 years. It is proof that our passionate approach to providing exceptional customer service right from initial creative ideas through all stages of design, print and production must be working!

The average length of service of our staff is 11 years so many of the team have been with us for most of the 20 years. We know that our loyal customers find this level of experience of great benefit and we would like to thank all of them for supporting us over the past 20 years.

We look forward to working with you all again in what promises to be an eventful 2012.

Carrick would like to wish Only Men Aloud the best of luck on their Christmas Tour where they will be performing songs from their new album - In Festive Mood, and some old favourites. We have enjoyed working with OMA over the past weeks preparing the tour programme and other tour materials.

Mango Planning launch site update

As part of our ongoing brand development of the dynamic new planning consultancy we have been working on adding new content and features to their site. The latest update includes a public area where various files and links will be added, a new twitter ticker feed that runs along the bottom of every page, a revamped slideshow on the homepage and more content across the whole site. Work begins on innovative new product

We are really excited to have been chosen to work on an innovative new product which is due to be launched into shops in the coming months. Our design team are providing brand development and packaging ideas for what we believe to be a product with a big future. Obviously, we can't reveal too much at this stage but check back soon for more news on this exciting project.

UK Charity selects Carrick for brand creation work

We are proud to announce that we have been selected to work on creating a brand for a new UK charity. Our design team have already completed the first stage of the brief and our designs have been very well received. ESG – Achieving the gold standard

Carrick recently attended a prestigious event at the House of Commons to mark the launch of ESG online. ESG Online is a powerful, comprehensive yet easy to use management system providing a complete and independent solution for Environmental Health & Safety compliance. As part of our continued development of their brand we designed and produced a number of communication items which were distributed at the event and will be used in the coming months to promote this new venture. Sir Steve Redgrave was the guest speaker who entertained us with inspiring stories of how he reached the top of the world in rowing, how he stayed there for so long and how this can be applicable to all walks of life, particularly in business. Sir Steve also brought along his gold medal from the Sydney Olympics and allowed the guests to handle and be photographed with a golden piece of history.

Hafan Cymru win best stand award at TAI 2011

Carrick have recently produced a variety of exhibition materials for our customers who attended the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Cymru TAI 2011 Conference. Hafan Cymru won the best stand award and we are very proud to have played our part. To find out more about the work that Hafan Cymru do click here.

We also produced a modular system for Solar Windows as well as designing other conference materials, signage and backdrops for the event as pictured below.
